How long is a typical tutoring session? 

Tutoring sessions range anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on each student.

All sessions include breaks as needed. We find that most students enjoy quick breaks to remain focused. Whether that means stepping away for a few minutes, moving our bodies, or playing a quick game, our goal is to keep the body AND the brain moving! 

 

Why do prices vary for tutoring sessions?  

Our prices vary due to the individualized nature of each student's specific learning needs. Prices also vary based on the length of sessions and whether or not you are purchasing single, monthly, or a package of classes. Also, students with special needs or requirements may also adjust the rate. 

 

What equipment do I need for tutoring sessions? 

You will need a reliable broadband internet connection and a computer with: a webcam, microphone, and speaker. 

 

What video platform do you use? 

The software we use for audio/video chat is Google Meet or Zoom which are free to download and available for PC and Macs. 

 

What types of payments are accepted? 

We accept payment via Paypal or Venmo. Payments are due prior to each lesson. For example: if you sign up for a one-month tutoring package, we require the entire month to be pre-paid. Online booking & payment options coming soon!

What if I miss a class? 

As long as you notify your tutor 24hrs in advance, your class will not be charged. We understand that life happens!
